Rowena Young

Rowena Young - Forest Manager

Rowena works across the Cotswolds, Chilterns and Anglia to support clients whose aspirations reflect the full potential of trees and woodlands in lowland areas. Guiding clients through the long-term planning and management of trees and woodland; designing, planting and maintaining new orchards, hedgerows, parkland and woodland trees; connecting and improving the condition of mixed habitats; felling and marketing timber: are all part of a diverse portfolio.

Rowena has a strong technical understanding of the challenges confronting our woodlands in some of the warmest, driest areas of the country, and seeks to build clients’ knowledge and confidence to negotiate change. She draws on over 20 years’ experience of innovation and venture development to ensure proposals are as pragmatic as they are effective.

Key services:

· Design and planning – all aspects of agroforestry, woodland creation, wood pasture and woodland management;

· Financing – providing customized guidance and access to the optimal mix of income, grants and finance to resource plans, ensuring interventions are cost effective and represent best value;

· Management – diligent aftercare, maintenance and monitoring – and reliable communication.
