Xander joined Tilhill in 2021 as a Forestry Investment Analyst after spending much of his career working in investment, but he also has experience working in Government and the non-profit sector.
Xander studied computer science at Oxford University but discovered an interest in finance and went on to build a career as an investment professional, first at a global emerging market hedge fund in London and then moving to the US to specialise in early-stage technology investments in Silicon Valley. Upon joining Tilhill, he has spent the past year visiting forestry sites across the UK as a forestry investment analyst, working closely with Tilhill’s forestry management teams.

Xander will be leading the way in the full end-to-end investment services Tilhill offers.

Xander will be a key contributor and speaker at the launch of The UK Forest Market Report 2022 and will be presenting the market overview findings at the event which is being held on 22 November in London and 23 November in Edinburgh.
