Building a Solid Structure for Growth

Due to ambitious expansion plans in Scotland, Tilhill Forestry is pleased to announce the promotion to Regional Manager of two of its most experienced and respected professionals.

Andrew Vaughan will move on from his role as District Manager of Central Scotland to take responsibility for a new North Scotland region encompassing the Central Scotland, West Highland and North Highland Districts.

Eddie Addis will build on the experience he has gained as District Manager for Central Borders by taking on the remit of Regional Manager for South Scotland taking additional responsibility for the busy South West Scotland District.

The new Regional Manager roles will ensure an improved service to the Company’s valued clients as well as providing a sound structure for onward growth. Both Regional Managers will report directly to Tim Liddon, Forestry Director.

Upon the news of his promotion Andrew said: “I am delighted to have been chosen to take up this Regional Manager role for North Scotland. It will indeed be a challenge. We have a variety of different client types and therefore many facets of forest management to engage with in order to satisfy our client needs. I am very much looking forward to the challenges ahead.”

Eddie Addis commented: “Being given responsibility to grow what is already a very busy South West Scotland District is an honour and one I accept with relish. The role has started with immediate effect and I look forward to working with both Districts under my remit in order to expand our work in South Scotland.”

In conjunction with the appointment of Regional Managers there will shortly be additional opportunities for Area Managers throughout the business to take on responsibilities over and above those usually undertaken by Senior Forest Managers.

These new positions will introduce exciting new layers into the current forestry structure allowing extra opportunities for promotion and personal growth. The revised structure will not only allow the forestry business to grow at a faster strategic rate but will also enable opportunities for the Landscaping business to expand.
