Jay Williams, Forest Manager
Jay studied Wildlife Conservation and Natural Resource Management, followed by a Master’s Degree in Forestry Management at Harper Adams University. He graduated in 2019 and received an Institute of Chartered Foresters Student Award for his work.
Alongside his studies he worked as a Ranger part-time, assisting in small scale forestry operations as a machine operator.
Jay joined Tilhill as an Assistant Manager in 2021 after spending 18 months in New Zealand, where he travelled and undertook agricultural employment. Jay particularly enjoys new woodland creation schemes and is working towards professional membership of the ICF.
