Braemore Wood is a compact commercial forest near Inverness in North Scotland.
The forest has excellent access via an agreed timber transport route. Sections of the forest have been felled and require replanting, which can be done with the assistance of grants.
There are approximately 24 Ha of mature timber which could be felled in the next four years. Some capital expenditure would be required to access the mature timber but would ultimately increase the overall value of the forest.
There is also opportunity for some restructuring of the species makeup of the forest which would further add value.
Tilhill has inspected the site and is very active in the area.
