Mark Dobson, Forest Manager
Mark started in forestry in 2018, studying at the Scottish school of Forestry, which led to a placement with Tilhill in Oban. Then spent time with Forestry and Land Scotland in Lochgilphead as harvesting, standing sales supervisor and then onto Lochaber South and Aberdeenshire South as as Forest management.
Mark spent time in other sectors including landscaping, Heritage, Aviation and more recently serving as a police officer in a role protecting national infrastructure. With time spent on Forestry and Land Scotland national health, safety and welfare committee as West region rep and attending FISA.
He has a strong interest in making forestry a safer place, using technology and communication, as well as making the industry more inclusive.
