Steve Jenkins - Harvesting Manager
Steve started working for the Forestry Commission in 1979 based in South Wales to gain practical experience before attending Newton Rigg College in 1981-1984.
On leaving Newton Rigg, he joined the Forestry Commission as a forester in the Scottish borders. In 1988, he joined what was then the harvesting division of a company called Western Softwood which became the ‘W’ in BSW. In 1990 Steve moved to Perthshire to establish a harvesting area in central Scotland and remained there until 2000 when he moved back to Wales. He is currently Harvesting Manager for south west Wales.
