Tilhill Forestry is headline sponsor at the APF 2016
Tilhill Forestry will be exhibiting at the APF (stand A6, 7, 8) together with parent company, BSW. The show is the UK’s largest forestry, woodland and arboricultural exhibition and takes place on 15th, 16th and 17th September at Ragley Estate, Warwickshire. The show will be celebrating its 21st anniversary this year.
The location of the Tilhill Forestry/BSW stand, right by the entrance, means that you won’t fail to notice the glamping pod that will be a key feature this year. The staff of Tilhill Forestry and BSW will be on hand to welcome visitors with a hot or cold beverage and a chance to have a chat to the forestry and glamping pod specialists.
The Timeless Timber Glamping Pod is beautifully crafted using home-grown timber and provides a long-term, low-cost, low-maintenance revenue stream. The pod design is such that you can even place them on land that is uneven or unusable, which brings the opportunity to generate income from previously dormant land.
Timeless Pods are made by Timeless Timber Ltd who are owned by BSW Timber Ltd, the UK's largest integrated forest products company and Tilhill Forestry’s parent company. We are also very pleased to have a stunning Timeless Pod on our stand which should create a great deal of interest, particularly for those interested in an additional income stream from ‘glamping’.”
Tilhill Forestry is also one of the APF’s most significant sponsors and this year is no exception. Some of Europe’s best chainsaw carvers will be competing in the Tilhill Forestry and A W Jenkinson European Chainsaw Carving Competition.
Twenty five carvers will be taking part in the three-day, open carving competitionwhich includes daily 30-minute speed-carving competitions in the central arena. The winner will receive £500 and a special trophy from the sponsors, second prize will be £300 and third prize £150. First, second and third places will also receive a pair of HAIX chainsaw boots. Additional prizes of a pair of HAIX chainsaw boots will be awarded to the best speed carve of the three days and to the winner of the ‘Carvers own choice’ category of the best main carve. All of the carvings will be auctioned after the prize giving.
